About this song
"Someone Like You" is the second single from Adele's album 21. Adele wrote it with Dan Wilson. It became her first number-one single in the UK and her second in the USA, and it won the first Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance at the 54th Grammy Awards in 2012.
What it's about
The song was inspired by the broken relationship behind most of the album 21. As the album's closing track, it tells of Adele coming to terms with that breakup.
