About this song

Alan Walker first made the track as an instrumental in August 2014 called "Fade" and released this updated version in December 2015 under the name "Faded", with ISELIN providing vocals. At the time, Walker was an eighteen-year-old from Bergen, Norway, and after the song took off he said he was more focused on homework than on its chart success. After release it quickly gained traction, with many listeners making music videos and edits using the audio, and it became a fan favorite and a staple of his catalog.
