"Too Close" is the second single and fourth track from Alex Clare's debut album The Lateness of the Hour, released on 15 April 2011. The song gained popularity after it was used in an advert for Internet Explorer 9, and it was eventually certified double platinum. It was also nominated for Best British Single at the 2013 Brit Awards and reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, number one in Germany and seven on the US Billboard Hot 100.
