About this song
Un-thinkable (I'm Ready) is a love-themed track on Alicia Keys' fourth studio album, The Element of Freedom. The music video stars Keys and Chad Michael Murray as a couple whose relationship faces opposition from the girl's brother, who disapproves of her choice of partner.
What it's about
The song follows two people who are starting a relationship that both see as something unthinkable. Its message, as the video suggests, is that people should be free to pursue their feelings regardless of color or social expectations.
