About this song
BENEE wrote "Supalonely" during a trip to Los Angeles, shortly after a breakup, and it is the third single from the EP Stella & Steve. The song gained popularity in March 2020 after going viral on TikTok. Elton John praised the track on his Rocket Hour radio show on Apple Music and invited BENEE to join him on air.
What it's about
The song takes a playful look at the feeling of being sad after a breakup. BENEE chose an upbeat sound, deciding to have fun with the feeling rather than dwell on it.
