About this song
The track is built over an ominous sample of Henry Mancini's "Theme for the Losers" and includes a vocal sample from Prodigy's verse on the first version of Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones." JuJu of The Beatnuts produced it, and he said Pun asked for a dirty, grimy sound that would show how he was coming. In a 2004 XXL interview, JuJu described how he made several beats and played them for Pun, who immediately approved one. Fat Joe also appears on the track, adding his own verse after Pun's opening.
What it's about
Pun opens the track by issuing a fair warning to challengers that he is ready to punish the competition. Fat Joe follows with a verse telling rivals he is no longer alone and that dealing with him and his partner will be a problem.
