About this song
The song was released as a single on June 22, 2004, to promote the Black Eyed Peas' 2003 album, Elephunk. It is a re-recorded version of the album track "Let's Get Retarded." The new version was first created for use in commercials for the 2004 NBA Playoffs on ABC, and its popularity from frequent airings led to its release as a single and its addition to Elephunk as a bonus track.
