About this song
Neon Tide is a follow-up to the successful PLAN Z by BOI WHAT and was produced by Mathue. It was first teased on the BOI WHAT TikTok account in October, with the chorus previewed before the full release. The wait between the first teaser and release was about a month and a half, the longest for the group so far, because Mathue reworked the second half of the track after deciding earlier versions were not good enough.
