About this song
The song has a softer, more brooding sound than most of Cage the Elephant's work. Rhythm guitarist Brad Shultz said the band chose a new approach to writing it, deliberately doing things listeners might not expect from them. Its music video is shot in black and white.
What it's about
The song explores the pain of searching for one's identity, told through the thoughts of a lover who has parted ways with someone.
