This Is What You Came For

About this song

This is the third collaboration between Calvin Harris and Rihanna, following "We Found Love" and "Where Have You Been." Harris and Rihanna recorded the song in New York during one all-night session, while Rihanna was on tour. Rihanna did not hear the final version until they were backstage at Coachella in 2016. Taylor Swift co-wrote the song under the name Nils Sjoberg, a fact her reps confirmed on July 13, 2016, and she sang the chorus "oohs."

What it's about

The song is a club track centered on a lyrical message that the text does not explain beyond its title phrase. Its subject is not described in the text, so this field is left empty.
