"Pullin' Me Back" is the first single from Chingy's third album, Hoodstar. Jermaine Dupri produced the track, which features R&B singer Tyrese. The song samples "Rain" by SWV, which itself samples "Portrait of Tracy" by Jaco Pastorius. It peaked at number nine on the Hot 100, Chingy's fourth and final top ten single, and reached number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart, his first number-one single.
