Daniel Powter
The song was released in Europe in 2005 and became a hit after Coca-Cola used it as the theme for an advertising campaign on the continent. It topped the Italian and German charts and reached number two in England for three weeks. In America, it became a hit when American Idol used it as the theme for the goodbye videos of contestants voted off in the show's fifth season. Billboard named Daniel Powter the top one-hit wonder of the 2000s for this song, and it became the first hit to top the US charts for a Canadian act since Nickelback's "How You Remind Me" in 2002. In 2008, the British Performing Rights Society revealed it was the most played song in the UK over the previous five years.
The song says that even if you have a bad day once in a while, things will get better.
