About this song
The track was released in June 2018 as the lead single from Dean Lewis's forthcoming debut studio album, following his debut EP Same Kind Of Different in 2017. A music video followed a month later. The song reached number one and was certified double platinum in Australia, the singer's home country.
What it's about
The song covers the hardship of a break-up, with the singer turning to a friend who gives painful but necessary advice to move on. Lewis has said it is not literally about him and is really about hope and trusting that things will work out with good people around you.
