About this song
The song was written quickly during the final ten days of recording sessions for Hysteria, and producer Mutt Lange convinced the record company to let the band finish it for the album. It was released as the album's second UK single and reached #18 there, with similar success in Australia and New Zealand. In the US, a remix by Lange for pop stations helped it climb to #2 on the pop chart and drive Hysteria to the top of the albums chart.
