About this song
"Don't Start Now" is the lead single from Dua Lipa's second studio album Future Nostalgia, released in 2019 after "Swan Song" earlier that year. The disco-inspired track was teased on social media in October 2019 before its release, and a preview was given to a fan on BBC Radio 1 less than 24 hours ahead of launch. Ed Millet of TaP Management described the track as more upbeat and dance-y in an interview with Variety.
