Fooled Around And Fell In Love

About this song

The song peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976 and was certified Gold. It also reached the top 40 in four other countries, including the UK. Bishop felt his own voice did not suit the song, so he asked one of his band's backing singers, Mickey Thomas, to sing it instead. Thomas later went on to front Jefferson Starship, later known as Starship, and reached the US top 10 six more times with that band.
