Freddie Gibbs, The Alchemist
"1995" is the lead single for Alfredo 2, the sequel to the 2020 album and the third collaborative studio album between Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist. The song was first teased through a Craigslist listing posted on behalf of Gibbs and The Alchemist, which sought a chef for a Tokyo-based restaurant and listed the compensation as "1995". The listing gained wider attention on July 15, 2025, when multiple Twitter accounts began promoting it, and a Twitter insider later revealed the title as the lead single along with the album's cover art.
