That’s So True

About this song

"That's So True" started as a bonus track before becoming a viral hit and Gracie Abrams' first top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. A 7" vinyl with a live version, a TikTok trend and an SNL performance all added to its popularity. It was first previewed live in Toronto in May 2024, when Gracie confirmed it would appear on The Secret of Us (Deluxe), and she later performed it in Los Angeles with her best friend and co-writer Audrey.

What it's about

On the surface, the song seems to deal with the difficulty of getting over an ex who has already moved on with someone new. Gracie has not publicly revealed what inspired it.
