Alone With Me

About this song

The song was announced on March 18, 2021, when Hopsin posted a snippet on Instagram. Before its release, he teased it again as a crazy song with an even crazier video.

What it's about

Hopsin has an honest conversation with himself, looking back on his career, love life, family and relationships. The theme of suicide runs through the song, used as a metaphor for killing off an earlier version of himself and his lifestyle, which the music video shows as he pulls the pin from a grenade and hands it to that former self.
