Darkside

About this song

"Darkside" is the opening track of iann dior's late-2019 album Industry Plant. It was teased on several occasions by dior himself and Taz Taylor. The music video is a parody of the Sum 41 video for "Still Waiting," which itself parodies The Strokes' "Last Nite" video.

What it's about

The song looks back on a broken relationship and the psychopathic traits of dior's ex. Over a catchy guitar riff, he concludes she saw him as nothing but a target and would love him more if he were dead.
