"Knees" is the first single from Injury Reserve's sophomore album, By The Time I Get to Phoenix, and was released on August 11, 2021. It is the first solo Injury Reserve release since the death of member Stepa J. Groggs. The beat is built around a sample of the intro to black midi's 2020 single "Sweater," which repeats throughout the track.
