About this song
Lazaretto was originally released as the world's fastest-released record on Record Day 2014, and Jack White released the studio version two days later. The studio release included an Elvis Presley cover, Power of My Love, as its B-side. It is the second single from White's 2014 album Lazaretto, following High Ball Stepper.
What it's about
White has said the song is a rhyme about the bragging common in hip-hop lyrics. The narrator boasts, but about things he has actually accomplished and actually does rather than imaginary goals.
