About this song
The song was made while Jamiroquai was recording their fourth album, which was then called Symphonised, in 1998. Recordings made with former bassist Stuart Zender were scrapped after he left the band in acrimonious circumstances, and Jay Kay chose to start again from scratch.
What it's about
The main theme is being scorned. It is widely believed that Jay Kay wrote the lyrics about Stuart Zender.
