About this song
Jay Sean got a Lil Wayne feature on this 2009 single thanks to his Cash Money connections. Producers J-Remy and Bobby Bass built a surging dance anthem around a chorus that is easy to repeat. The song reached number 1 in Australia, Slovakia and the UK, topped the US Billboard Hot 100, and was certified 6 times platinum in the US.
What it's about
The song is about being there for someone who is sad and asking whether a partner will stick around when things go wrong. Its music video suggests things will never go badly for Sean.
