About this song
"Lean Wit Me" was Juice WRLD's third official single, following "All Girls Are The Same" and "Lucid Dreams." Unlike those two, it was released on streaming services on the same day as its official release, making it his first track to do so. The official music video came out on August 2, 2018, and features Juice at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
What it's about
The song centers on Juice's struggle with addiction and drug abuse and the consequences that come with it. Even though he knows the drugs are harming him, he cannot seem to quit. The title refers to lean, a mixture of promethazine-codeine cough syrup, a soft drink and a hard candy.
