About this song
"Blueberry Faygo" was expected to be the first single from Seattle rapper Lil Mosey ahead of his upcoming project, The Land of Make Believe. It was later added to his debut album, Certified Hitmaker, near the end of February 2020. A partial leak surfaced on June 5, 2019, and gained traction on TikTok before the official release, with uploads of the leak reaching millions of views; the released version included a new second verse that had only been briefly previewed by the verse's recording studio.
What it's about
The title refers to a flavor of Faygo, a soft drink brand often mentioned in hip-hop in connection with drug use, specifically the abuse of lean and codeine.
