Runaway

About this song

"Runaway" is the second single released from Lil Peep's 2018 posthumous album, Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2. The song was accidentally posted to Peep's SoundCloud on June 14, 2017, before being taken down. Its official release date of November 1 would have been Lil Peep's 22nd birthday. The video was directed by Peep's mother, Liza Womack, who also provided most of the pictures, and by Steven Mertens.

What it's about

The track finds Peep vowing to do whatever it takes to escape the pain caused by fake people, saying that nobody, not even his mom or his lovers, can stop him from breaking away.
