About this song
"LDN" was the second single from Lily Allen's debut album Alright, Still. It was released with the B-sides "Nan, You're a Window Shopper", "Naïve" and "Knock 'Em Out". The song heavily features a sample of Tommy McCook and The Supersonics' "Reggae Merengue" as its main instrumental hook.
What it's about
The song is about London, told through a bicycle journey across the city. Lily comments on how its cheerful surface hides the malice and distastefulness underneath.
