About this song
Matt Maltese released the ballad in 2017. He has since said on Twitter that the song is no longer about Trump and May.
What it's about
The song imagines a night of passion between Theresa May and Donald Trump, sung against a sense that the world is heading toward its end. It captures a feeling of apocalyptic dread that the writer feels still fits the present day.
