About this song
Meek Mill and Drake recorded "R.I.C.O." as their second collaboration on a solo track, following "Amen" from Meek Mill's debut album Dreams & Nightmares. Producer Vinylz, a frequent Drake collaborator, sets a laid-back Toronto vibe on the track. The song would later start a beef between the two rappers.
What it's about
The rappers boast throughout the song and allude to the R.I.C.O. statute in its title. The track also portrays a loyal crew where, if one member gets into trouble, everyone faces it together.
