About this song
Metro Boomin's "Creepin" features The Weeknd and 21 Savage and has a melancholy, soft sound. Hints about the song surfaced about a week before the album's reveal, and Metro Boomin confirmed The Weeknd's participation on December 1 via an Instagram Story. The song pays tribute to Mario Winans's 2004 R&B classic "I Don't Wanna Know," interpolating both The Weeknd's verses and chorus along with a sample of that song.
What it's about
The Weeknd and 21 Savage reflect on the vulnerability of the lies and secrecy that came with cheating in their relationships. 21 Savage also talks about the expensive things he did to try to win over fake love.
