About this song
"Turks" is the second collaboration between NAV, Gunna and Travis Scott, following Travis Scott's August 2018 song "YOSEMITE". It serves as the lead single to NAV's third studio album, Good Intentions. The official music video premiered on NAV's YouTube channel three days after the song's release, on March 30, 2020, with a cameo from Young Thug and direction by Amir "Cash" Esmailian.
What it's about
The three artists tell a rags-to-riches story about moving from being poor to living a lavish lifestyle, name-checking expensive possessions such as cars, jewelry, weaponry and women. The title refers to Turks & Caicos, a group of islands.
