About this song
"Confidence" is the leading single from Ocean Alley's album Chiaroscuro. It was voted number 1 on Triple J's Hottest 100 for 2018. The band's Mitch said a guitar riff at the start of the song got stuck in his head, and the group built the track from the bass and drums up, adding the intro and outro after the chorus and verse were written.
