Strange Entity

About this song

Strange Entity is the third single and fourth song on the debut album Entity by Oscar and the Wolf. The track opens with some reversed notes before settling into a mid-tempo electropop groove, and it created a fair amount of buzz in Belgium and around the world. The music video was directed by a friend of Max Colombie who was graduating, and it sets the ancient Greek story of Orpheus and Eurydice in a modern setting.

What it's about

Colombie explained that the video follows a woman who dies and a man who must bring her back to Earth on the condition that he does not look at her while walking. He looks anyway and she is lost forever, which he described as the song's subject: love that is lost.
