Dreamin Of The Past

About this song

Pusha T's manager Steven Victor previewed the track on Instagram in January 2022, and Upscale Vandal later shared a short snippet teasing its release. Pusha T revealed in an April 2022 interview with Charlemagne that Kanye West originally produced the beat for his album Donda, but Pusha T liked it so much that he begged for it. The track also appeared on an early version of the Donda track list.

What it's about

Pusha T and Kanye West reminisce over luxurious moments from their lives that their past selves never expected to experience. The title comes from a line in the first verse of the track's sample, Donny Hathaway's 1972 cover of John Lennon's "Jealous Guy."
