Aston Martin Music

About this song

Producer Rook of J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League made the beat and said the main inspirations were Prince and old-school R&B acts like Cherrelle and The Whispers, along with Ice Cube. The beat was first sent to Drake before Ross got it, and Drake later asked why he had not received it sooner. A remix with a Drake verse was released with a music video, and the single topped Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart for 18 weeks.

What it's about

Ross described the mood as music for riding in a two-seater car with a favorite companion, feeling confident and cool.
