About this song
Watching You is the third track on Rodney Atkins' album If You're Going Through Hell, and it was released as the album's second single. The song was allegedly written by Atkins after he learned his son Elijah had been singing If You're Going Through Hell at school, which worried the faculty. An accompanying music video was later made, starring Atkins and Elijah and portraying the events of the song.
