About this song
"Numb Numb Juice" is the lead single from ScHoolboy Q's fifth studio album. It first appeared as a short studio clip on his Instagram, after a series of hints across his social media, and was officially released on March 14, 2019. The single was promoted with a YouTube live premiere of its music video, and producer DJ Fu explained that the beat was originally made by Sounwave, Baby Keem and Cardo before he rebuilt it with a new main melody.
What it's about
The track finds Q back in the rap game, ready to take on his rivals. Its "Jack-In-The-Box" line is a metaphor for him being prepared to take out competition in rap.
