If You Can't Hang

About this song

"If You Can't Hang" is the second track on the band's sophomore album. Kellin Quinn told Dead Press that an infectious pre-chorus came to him while the band was waiting to play a show in San Francisco. Quinn and then-bandmate Jesse Lawson finished the song that night before the show started.

What it's about

The song is described as a depiction of three relationships and the lessons learned along the way. It tells the story of a partner who turns out to be a pretty face with a rotten core.
