About this song
The song was teased for a while as a solo track by $NOT starting in early 2019. Its hype led him to make it one of his most important releases, and he waited for a feature before putting it out. Maggie Lindemann contributed the feature, and the song came with a music video and arrived on all streaming services, a notable step since $NOT usually releases music on SoundCloud.
What it's about
It is a love song in which $NOT invites the person he's infatuated with to escape reality and take a dreamlike trip with him. The slow, romantic instrumental is built on a sample of Lord Huron's 2015 song "The Night We Met."
Fun facts
