About this song
The music video for the song has drawn a number of negative comments calling it bad and the artist's worst song. Token's response to the criticism was brief, telling listeners to dig deeper.
What it's about
The song is about Ben Goldberg growing tired of not being himself, having lost himself while building the Token persona, and wanting to end the situation. The "Dirty Flesh" of the title is a symbol for the evil and repulsiveness Ben sees in the person he has become as Token.
