About this song
"laced up" is tsubi club's first release after a nearly three-year break, following his debut single "burbank house". The track was first previewed as a demo on SoundCloud in early 2021, with snippets shared on Twitter in April and June 2024 before its full release on July 31, 2024. The accompanying nine-minute music video, partly directed by tsubi club himself, was released two days before the song reached streaming platforms.
What it's about
The video continues the story from "burbank house", following Soren, the character based on tsubi club's real name, as he fights his way off the beach where he washed up in the previous chapter.
