About this song
"My PYT" featuring Sam Sneak was the first official single from Wale's fifth studio album, SHINE. Its chorus interpolates Michael Jackson's single "PYT" from Thriller, and producers The Dope Boyz sample the groove from Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing." Fans had been eager to hear it after Wale began tweeting lyrics from it in 2015.
