George Bondo

About this song

The title is a reference to American visual artist George Condo, who is known in the rap community for artwork he made for Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. Westside Gunn follows his habit of using Blood gang slang in his titles by swapping C's for B's. Gunn references the artist again later on the album, on "LE Djoliba" and on Supreme Blientel's "Ric Martel."

What it's about

The title reflects the contrast in Westside Gunn's work between his artistic nature and his dangerous, gang-related lifestyle.
