About this song
"Numb" is the first single from Witt Lowry's 2017 project "I Could Not Plan This." The track was deliberately made to be a banger, and it takes aim at the mumble rapper trend, with jabs at the styles of Desiigner, A$AP Ferg and Future. A music video directed by longtime collaborator Mike Squires came out in December 2016, in which Witt recreates a small part of Desiigner's "Panda" video.
What it's about
The song satirizes the mumble rapper trend by poking fun at the styles of several popular rappers.
