About this song

"Scenario" features Leaders of the New School and is the second posse cut on A Tribe Called Quest's second LP, The Low End Theory, after "Show Business." The song is credited with helping launch Busta Rhymes' breakout, thanks to his standout verse. A remixed version appeared on the B-side of the 12" single and in a limited edition of the group's 1998 album The Love Movement, and Time later included the song on its "All-Time 100 Songs" list. A 1992 live performance on the Arsenio Hall Show also helped it gain popularity.
