About this song
AJR is an indie pop band, and this single by them is described as politically charged. The original version was used as the theme song for Morgan Spurlock's documentary Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken!, and the band wrote it after watching the film.
What it's about
The band said they connected with Spurlock's passion as an underdog trying to expose a corrupt giant, and they wanted the song to inspire the idea that enough underdogs working together can bring real change.
