The song is the third-to-last track on the album Ants From Up There by Black Country, New Road. It features flute-to-saxophone performance, a twinkling piano melody, warm guitars and chorus-like background vocals. Wood said he started writing it in response to, or heavily inspired by, Bob Dylan's 2020 track "I've Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You", and he was drawn to the bluesy, loungy feel in which the instruments blend into one another.
