About this song
The song is the leading single from blackbear's 2017 album digital druglord. Its chorus plays on the solfège scale, the do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do pitch system often used in music education.
What it's about
The song is an ode to a failing relationship with a conceited, self-centered girl who is extremely privileged and takes advantage of the attention she gets from men, particularly rich and famous ones. The narrator channels his frustration into the track.
