Banquet

About this song

Banquet was the second single from Bloc Party's debut album and gained many remixes, most notably by The Streets and Mike Shinoda. Its video shows the band playing a detached set while a group of fans slowly warms up and starts moshing as the track builds. The song was first released with "Staying Fat" on the B-side, and later received a fuller release in several formats, including two CDs, a DVD and a 7" vinyl package. It also appears on the licensed soundtrack of Life is Strange 2, where it plays in Episode 1 as Daniel and Sean Diaz dance in their motel room.

What it's about

The song is described as a punk and electro anthem full of swagger and sexual tension.
